Laugh!

The only way that I know to keep rabbits from mating is to keep them caged. When I was much younger, my brother raised rabbits as a 4-H project. If I remember, the buck was introduced to the doe, not the other way around, so that the doe would feel more at ease. After mating you removed the buck from the doe's environment. They could possibly fight and when the doe gives birth, the buck could kill the newborns.

Check with you local County Agricultural office (or agent) for more information.

Lucky him! My mini-rabbit hasn't met a loving and responsive partner for two years... Never actually - after the last and only time when the grotesque long-haired so-called she-thing that was supposed to be in heat scared him and beat him badly...

have your rabbit neutered and suggest that your neighbor get the female spayed. Also, if you would prefer not to pay the vet bill on that, just keep them seperate, either in the house or in a hutch outside.

Keep them caged and seperated, which is a simple fix.

If she is already pregnant, the neighbor will be able to sell the kits or give them away.

That Rabitess must be a hottie!

Neuter him, or keep them seperated. You have to be smarter than the rabbit.

Curtail rabbit playdates. You don't want to pay paternity for eight youngsters.
