Are there any age limits for answering different catergories in Yahoo questions, ie you have to be under 30 to answer 'singles and dating' or over 50 to answer a 'gardening' question?

Some ignorant people choose the stereotypical way of thinking, as if they were still in highschool. I'm 14, and sick of labels and being put into categories based on my likes, mindset, and clothing.
I understand, if mature content is a factor, then yes. There ought to be an age filter. But otherwise, people should have the freedom of speech and discussion that the Constitution allows.

I have seen kids under 10 intersted in gardening & people older than 60 dating, when there is so much flexibility in life, why have restrictions in Yahoo.
One may not be single, might not be looking for a date & still can ask & answer Q & A in it. It depends on your area of interst & expertise or your curiosities that what you want to ask or answer. to the best of my knowledge there are no such restrictions in yahoo answers. Keep up your Q & A. I like them all. By the way who told you this that there is any such restriction?

Some ppl set age limits on a question on here. But I just think that if you can answer the question regardless of your age go for it. Its what I do all the time. And I'm far from being an ageist.

No not at all, people over 50 have had years of experience to answer dating questions and some young people love gardeing and know lots about it
