I feel there are no regrets, as even the negative experiences in our lives help us learn about ourselves, and about the type of person we want to be.
The word 'fate' has a connotation of everything being set already. I do disagree with this, as I feel we have as many choices as we open ourselves up to. But when we make a choice that doesn't turn out the way we want, there's still a positive side (or learning experience) we can focus on. So in that way, after the fact, I guess it was "meant to be". :)
Hope I explained this ok. Have a great day!

Yes I believe everything happens for a reason. Either good or bad. Sometimes we make our own fate. I don't think everything in our lives is preordained but a lot is. We do have control over a lot. But some things we don't and those things, I believe, happen because of fate

i strongly believe life is not fate but rather life is controlled by fate. Fate is the suprnatural power which determines our destiny and i think before we were born our destiny had already been levelled out for us. so on that note what ever happens to us as human beings does not JUST happen. it happens for a reason and that we need to accept it in good faith.

YES, I THINK SO !!! Ted Turner (The president of CNN), said it too. What's written for u, will happen to u. He also said(which i do believe from my personal expierence), that ur at the right place at the right time or ur not.
Muslims say, that God has written ALLREADY, when u will be born, when u will die & what life u will have.
If u study the life of the Rich & Famous, they r not different than anyone else, but they were at the right time & at the right place. The same in winning the Lottery.

No good blaming iti all on your fate. It's a good excuse when things aren't going an easy way. Sometimes you have to stand up for yourself and your beliefs, i'ts a challenge which hard to deal with unless you are either lucky, or extremely lucky.

No, I don't think so.
For me, what we have become is based from what decisions and choices we've made for ourselves. If there's fate, I believe I it's because we allowed it to happen to us and didn't even try more and harder to avoid it. There's always room for the best if there's no giving up.. instead striving more to achieve what we want good for our life till we get it.

Well I think we can ask God to make our paths straight, and I know that even through the roughest times of my life He has held my hand and walked through it with me, and brought me safely to the other side. We make our own mistakes, I used to live a self-centered life and made such a mess of things. When God called me, I started to live His way, and although bad things still happen, it's such a comfort to know Him.

I don't think so. Life is 10% of what happens to us and 90% of how we react to it
