I said that freemasons were "pedophiles" for a joke-now I find myself jobless and the subject of a local whispering campaign--has anyone had any similar experiences to this?

First of all I doubt seriously that all your problems can be blamed on the Masons. If you are a Mason and need a job its a great networking tool! Also if somebody fired you because you said that would be opening a liable suit seeing that's illegal you have to give someone reason to fire you.
As far as all you deranged people also exercising your first amendment right you really shouldn't make unfounded allegations either. Masons are no Satanists or maybe we are and you'll soon be fired too lol.

Its not too far fetched for this to be the case but this type of thing is not limited to the masons. There are many secret societies in america that can cause you problems if you say the wrong thing. You never really know who hears what you say, who they are connected to, or how they will respond to what you say.
People who have attempted to rent property from me lied on their application not knowing who I was affiliated with. So when I would check their employment references, they had no idea that I knew some of the people personally. So when I denied their applications it made it that much harder for them to get an apartment because their name starts getting around in a bad way.
All of that said to suggest that you should always be careful of what you say because you never know who is listening and how it can affect your life.

No experience but i know that u have to be in a good relations with masons to get a good job and to come up in your job. They r secret society and they dont like this kind of jokes.

if they do that no one of them will tell you, so you will never find out, that's why they're the masons! next time think about what your saying, try taking out an ad making a public apology but don't repeat what you said in the ad take some time and make it good

Be very careful I hear they slice people up and throw their entrails over the left shoulder of the victim and thats just for not respecting the Royal Family. Who knows what would happen to some one that does not respect them.
