micro mart, expect to get 1/3 the original price of what you paid. but it depends on the computer how much ram what graphics hard drive and more importantly the speed of the cpu and if an lcd monitor comes with it then the price will vary. but for the computer alone 1/3 the original price in most cases

Ebay is one good place. Be professional in your approach, here's how:
- Take a good picture of the machine - the frontal and the side profile. Post these pictures in your bid invite on Ebay.
- Provide an exhaustive configuration list of what all is available in your machine, including the make of your motherboard, the make of your RAM, and other nitty-gritty.
- Also study the bid invitations of other sellers who have attempted to dispose off their machine using the Ebay service. This gives you good insights on their style and outcome.
All the best in your endeavor.

Normally people would just give it to those who can't afford it. Do it as an act of charity. No point selling it, as virus or some of your secret stuff or transaction could have probably gone into the system although you may have thought that you deleted them. I suggest you get some experts to clean wipe your system before giving it out..

EBay works, but if it's a year old you're not going to get much for it...depending on your tax situation it might be better to donate it to a charity and set the value very high. Also, much less hassle doing that.

a year? that thing's obsolete. there's no one who would want to buy it, because they can get something better for less money.
