Not at all - why be worried if she is gay anyway?
Loads of people have crushes on members of the same sex and neither of them have to be gay. Perhaps this girl is just being very open and honest - and that's a good thing - it's just that we can be a bit cynical about life sometimes and take things in the wrong way.
Do you want this girl to be your friend? It sounds like she wants to be friendly and if it turns out she is gay - many people are still worried about the reaction of others about gayness - so what?
If you like this girl as a friend then be nice to her and take the things she is saying as a compliment. She might seem a bit over the top but at least she is noticing you.

Sounds like she likes you but doesn't necessarily mean that it has to do with attraction in a sexual way. I think you'd know it if she meant it to be more than a friendship. I have several friends and coworkers that I admire, enjoy working with, and when I don't see them often I miss them and trust me I'm as straight as an arrow. Just enjoy the fact that someone thinks you're special and don't worry that there maybe a message behind it.

I think it means exactly what she said. Dont read into too much. I think you make her more comfortable at a job that may stress her out or is hard for her to do without you there. She admires the way you handle the job and wishes she could be the same. And of course it sounds like she just likes having a friend like you.
PS get ready for all the little smart asses that says she is a lesbian.

Maybe she wants to be friends with you outside of work (if you're not already). Some people do things to get a reaction as they say every action has a reaction - whether it be good or bad. She may be think that you're a really awesome person and just wants to be more like you. Most people are drawn and attracted to other people for a specific reason e.g. happy people attract happy people. If you're that worried about it why don't you just ask her?

If she's younger than you (5 years +) then I would guess she just admires where you have got to, however, when she says she "misses you when your shifts don't mix" I believe she's either quite lonely (and enjoys that she can relate to you) or she's gay but perhaps doesn't know it yet!

The girl does not fancy you. She was telling you that she likes the way you conduct yourself and respects your opinion. Maybe what she should have said is "your parents brought you up in the correct way, I wish my parents had done that with me". She probably would like you as a friend or sister. You can hold your head up and feel complimented. Good on your parents.

Don't be worried, its the alcohol effect. Ask her again when she is not drunk, then you will know the truth. Besides, you must feel also that when you are around, she moves funny unless you are the same with me 2yrs before that I can't feel any emotions or always give a cold shoulder toeveryone. (that's the truth about me)

Either she likes you as a really good friend or she might have a mild interest in you. Or just admires how successful you are. Doesn't sound like she is saying anything overtly sexy, so she might not be into you that way.

I wouldn't worry too much. She probably is embarrassed by what she said when she was drunk. Think of it as a good working relationship where she respects you.
