Well if you don't have a pci-e slot you will have an AGP slot. This is where your graphics card goes.

The best card for your PC is the Geforce 7800GS+ 512MB memory

It seems that both Azz! and Phish are talking out of their rear ends. PCI is older than AGP, which is older than PCI Express.

Look at the sites that Nedan suggests. You should still be able to find PCI video cards around, though it may prove difficult. You certainly won't get them at the first computer shop that you visit.

Ignore azz! who is patently talking out of his azz. AGP is an old format now, and the standard is PCI, which nearly all computers will have, or PCI-E, which is PCI-Express. There will be plenty of PCI graphics cards out there to choose from.

Depends on if you want ATI or nVidia cards and there are several places to still get them, although you may have to get a refurbished card if you get it from ATI or nVidia as they are pushing PCI Express or AGP cards and fazing out PCI.

Anyway http://www.tigerdirect.com for either one.
http://www.newegg.com for either one.
http://www.nvidia.com for nVidia.
http://www.ati.com for ATI cards.
http://www.overstock.com
http://ebay.com

etc...Hope this is helpful, oh yeah the refurbished cards are cheaper and have a lessened warranty than regular purchases, but the savings in price may offset this.

you ought to attempt both: a: initiate/Run/ and then type "devmgmt.msc" Or b: initiate/Run/ and then type "dxdiag" type them devoid of the rates, they both provide fairly quite some thoughts on your computing device specs and stuff, one in all them ought to inform you what pictures card slot you've (i'm not sensible although.)
