You don't need, nor should you douche without being told to do so by a doctor. Once douching was considered part of a woman's regular hygiene. Now, we know that douching causes an inbalance of the pH of the vagina and can lead to infection. If you have odor that seems unusual, see a doctor, and please don't douche before your appointment. Certain infections cause odor and can often be diagnosed very simply by their smell. Disgusting, but true!

You should only douche as part of a specific medical treatment for an infection using perscribed medications only. If you douche for other reasons you will kill all the normal vaginal bacteria and leave yourselfopen for a nasty infection! The vagina is very clever and cleans itself better than you can do it with interfereing so just leave it alone to continue it's excellent work.

No one needs a douche, especially women. The vagina will take care of expelling what it needs to. My gynecologist counseled against douches of any kind. Just take showers or baths every day and that should be sufficient

Douching was popular in America years ago. Never in Europe. It's totally unnecessary in normal life. Don't do it unless your doctor tells you to.

I think you got your English grammar confused. Your question should read, "I am a douche."
