This could effect the schools grades with the younger ones because its only just been recently declared and the little ones and most people grew up with knowing there to be 9 planets but no we have 8 and a possible 3 more.

Yes as a matter of fact many people in the field of planetary work will *give a *****. One man devoted his life to the study of Pluto and when it was finally agreed to visit the planet he was overcome with emotion.

Maybe it's hard for some people to get excited over this sort of thing but for each one out there who doesn't *give a ***** there are just as many who do.

Well, it doesn't really effect ourselves, but spare a thought for any forms of life that may exist on Pluto (Plutonians?) - would you want your world to be downgraded to a 'minor' planet by some bureaucrats from another world?!

Not really, its just scientists being geeky! Pluto has been taught as a planet for 80 years and I see no reason to begin to unteach that.
