Dear friend,
nothing is impossible. first i should make it clear that poverty means "no food" and not "little money"
yes, india can come out of poverty.

there was a time in the history of india where no one was poor. now the things have changed. it is estimated that if we go on by the present rate of development "8%" per year. with no mass clamities or war. we can attain freedom from poverty by 2040 completely. tough there may be unemployment, but at that time the govt will have potential to take care of such people.
we can attain it early if we pay attention to the following problems:-
1) cultural barriers:- some of our traditions like caste system, women harassment, sati, etc are becoming a great problem for our country.
2)corruption:- this the biggest problem. india comes under the 1st rank in the world for corruption.
3) communalism:- religious barrier exists in our country that should be taken care of.
4) draught and floods:- there is no regualarisation of rivers. the rivers sghould be connected and also the derforestation should be stopped to great extent.
5) literacy:- if we increase the literacy rate this can also increase our potential.
6) power:- we must explore and save our energy as much as we can like electricity, petrol, etc.
7) politics:- politics spending should be decreased. even in countries like usa, there are only two parties. we have thousands.
india ranks first in political business.
8) population:- we rank 2nd. we might rank 1st by 2040 if we grow like this.. surprisingly, the population of india had started decreasing by 1% per year, hope it reaches atleast 7-10 %.

our india is not poor. we have made it poor. UK and USA with research has said that india should have overcomed poverty by 2000, if it had not gone into partition, communial war, corruption in its first few years.
people now think subash chandra bose was right in his words that "india should have atleast 5 years of dictatorship government in order to provide it stability. it should be there at least till the constitution book is prepared and india is fully prepared for democracy".
democracy is also a kind of problem for us. the problem is not with democracy the problem is with the way we have used it.
but now indians will realise the power and be prosper.

jai hind.

First ,We must have a positive attitude that India can come out of poverty and become a poverty free country. Days are changing , in olden days there is a category of Middle Income People and Its very difficult for them to satisfy their basic needs but now becoz of services sector or IT sector they are earning more income. Like that in the near future definitely there will be a solution to remove poverty from the country.

Poverty is present globally but the gap between rich & poor is thin in developed countries. Illetracy is the root cause of poverty. For a nation to be rich all it's citizens should be educated & employed. India's population is the biggest challenge in eradicating poverty.

It is difficult, however it could be achieved on trying hard. Thick population is the primary cause for poverty. Still today there is concrete solution to control population. Population could be controlled only through educating rural people- no government will ever try to educate rural people because of VOTE.

One late prime minister of India said, "When we grant one rupee for for the overall upliftment of rural people, only fifteen paise reaches them" (hundred paise is one rupee). So every one knows that where the eighty five paise goes but there is no strict rule to stop them because of VOTE.

There are many many drawbacks, which could be rectified. India is rich country ruled by poor policies. Nevertheless that day is not too far away ..when India will shine, progress and stand as an example for the other country...!!!! It is NUPAKRY's word. HI HI HI

Poverty is part and parcel of the evolving economics. no poor people=no rich people. There will always be poverty in all countries of the world. How can I tell if you're rich if theres no contrast?
