What if I got my girlfriend pregnant, and we were planning to live together, but my girlfriends parents reject me, and we are both under 18, and her parents won't let her get emancipated ?
And we both live in different states
Is there another way for us to be together?

asians' are somewhat conservative; especially the older generations.
like all parents, they would want the best for their kids; especially daughters.
proof to them:
-you are respectful towards elderly
-you are capable of making a living without support
-you have a stable and sufficient income to support their daughter
-忠孝仁义 this 4 words are what asian elders always look upon in ones character
pregnancy prior marriage is a taboo and disrespect to them...think twice or face the consequences.

I see why her parents would reject, I would too be a parent myself. You are under 18 and thinking of knocking up someone's daughter. I hope you have a good job (no fast food), a car, a house and other things in life where you DO NOT need to depend on your parents to bring a child into this world. Being that she is under age her parents still have a say so in this whether you like it or not. You both only going to live together and not get married...sounds foolish to me. You both have a lot of growing up to do. Just because her parents are Asian do not mean a thing, any parent in their right mind would do the same thing. SInce you want to drop out of school...I surely would be against you seeing my daughter. You have nothing to offer that girl.

Grown up's protect themselves against accidental pregnancy. If you want to play at being a grown up, and expect to be respected for it, then act like a grown up. Take personal (that means you) responsibility for NOT allowing an unplanned pregnancy.
If that is too late, then in some states you can marry at your age. If you are planning on becoming parents and you are planning on living together, then get married.

Well, considering you want to drop out of school who can blame them for not letting her get emancipated. They're doing her a huge favor.
Try to get your own life together before you plan to bring another one into the world.

Your girlfriends parents have the ultimate say until she is of legal age. And since you are asking "what if" I am assuming that this isn't the case and I wouldn't sugguest making it happen just so the two of you can be together. I myself was a teen mom and it wasn't fun and seven years later I am not with the father.

umm, she isn't legal....neither are u, so her parents still make desicions 4 her.....duh! most pars.don't want their kids to emancipate, they do it anyway! honestly, i don't think the relationship will last...how far apart r the states? what do u hav against asians?? AND is she pregnant?

yea be polite and bend over backwards to please her parents, Asian people don't like arrogance or discourteous people, if you show allot of respect no matter what they say or do they will come around, Asians have a way of testing you like that. also wear a condom if you get her pregnant that's a bad start. good luck.
