Most people will tell you health and happiness for their loved ones and themselves is the most important thing in their life. Others will tell you the above come at a price though. My own personal take on this is define wealth and status, as you can have both in many forms and be poor in money and material things, you can have status and be of no importance to 'those that matter' in society. So define wealth and status, then look for your answers!!! 'Success is getting what you want. Happiness is liking what tou get.'

Well no not at all, but I can't really give a good opinion as I was born with wealth and my family's got status. And maybe it s different for people who struggle to get by every day of their life... I can tell you and the ones who stated "yes"on this question, it has it's advantages, but the dark side is real dark!!! sometimes like a heavy burden, how spoilt that may sound, believe me! To me friendship and a smile a day is far more important and I would partly trade with anyone for that!!

Having enough money to provide the essentials for myself and my family is important. Having decent, dependable transportation and decent clothing is important. Having a big enough house is important. Finally, giving my kids some of the things they want (toys, a vacation once in a while) is important to me. As far as wealth above that - it would be nice, but I'm not crying about it. And status, no...again, that is nice, but not essential to my happiness.

Yes, wealth and status = happiness. Argue that. I don't want to constantly struggle my whole life, I want to be able to give my family everything I possibly can. True, it's not the be all end all of happiness, but it sure is important!

They're important to everyone including myself! It's a lie to say otherwise! Money (And much of it), and social status is becoming increasingly important especially in our time. Family, friends and love are all important, but money and status are important too.

In this artificial world, wealth and status are temporary important to you. However, you must understand that when God created us and place us in this world, He is actually testing us on our faith and trust in Him. The bigger wealth and status will come in the form of God's reward to those who obey and carry out His commandment (Law) on earth. Those who are successful will
be promised by God, the Kingdom of Heaven - God's house and in it, everything you desire, God will give it to you.
So remember my friend, only in the Kingdom of Heaven you will find lasting wealth and status!

Happiness is main pursuit of most anybody. Wealth can attribute to being content, but it will not bring happiness everlasting. Status means nothing.
