Suddenly I've become a single mom of 3 children my only job in 10 years was homemaker now were left with zero

what kind of assistance is out there to get me on my feet and provide a good, stable, comfortable life style for my 3 children that has never wanted for anything to adjusting to having nothing or noones but us 4?

our middle child has alot of health problems so I've scarificed my goals in life for her/ all of my family we wanted to make sure they have the one on one attention and help they deserve as children not parents that are way tooo busy with other peoples lives to focus and enjoy there family/kids.

I'm sorrry this happened to you, some of the answers from these people are so rude, what can we expect they don't know any better than that, it's easy for them to judge you, (it's that ignorance they possess) what can you do.

Anyhow, about your situation, you didn't explain if your husband abandoned you and why you are being left with nothing, you have many rights as a mother and as a wife, if he just picked up and left, he shouldn't have done it & you should've called the police, letting them know that everything was community property and you had the children, he should've left only with his clothes, out of consideration for the kids, I strongly suggest you obtain some fee legal help, if you were legally married and even if you weren't he needs to give you child support immediately, you need to file for that right away.

The other thing I suggest to you is that you seek help in a church or organization for women in your situation, (perhaps battered) they can provide some assistance, especially a church, go to a woman's group they have many different sources, groups and assistance of different sorts, they even have child care, just look into it and try to move fast and move on, don't become depressed, you have a whole life ahead of yourself and with your children, many challenges, ask for counseling too at the church or your local county office, spiritual guidance is also quite helpful.

it depends on which state you are in some states will offer some type of medical assistance you might also be able to apply for food stamps this will at least give you a little money to at least some food you might also try for child support im not too sure of your situation but you might be able to at least pay for some type of expenses like laundry , a few toiletries or some type of transportation especially with the price of gas so i would suggest finding a small part time job to cover a few small expenses like school supplies and other things for kids. not being too sure of your situation and not knowing what type of experience you have but there are a lot of big nsme places that will train people to do some of their jobs such as cashiering also these companies pay well and they have a lot of reqally good benefits such as insurance for you and your kids they also offer vision and dental and prescription drug benefits so it might be worth a try. keep in mind that some companies will hire people who receive assistance because threy get a tax deduction

First check out Public Assistance in state you like. You have had 10 years of very complex management experience. Explore adding couple of years of modern technology at community college. An employer might be very happy to work with you if you can convince them thee is enough.

If you have a drivers license why not become a taxi driver? You might have to get a chauffers license! Another idea.. cause you were a homemaker.. you likely did lots of cooking so you can truthfully call yourself a cook! You can
start in a hostel like Salvation Arm Hostel as a cook.. the pay isn't great but you'll get a record of working as cook for pay!

You can get aid for your children from the state if the Father is not giving you child support, then they will go after him. You can apply for food stamps and medicaid. First off you need to get off the pity pot and decide - what - if anything - what you would like to do.
