the straight line is one of the most basic concepts in geometry, that is we cannot define it because to define an object you need more simple objects, which doesn't exist in our case, so we have to accept it as a primitive concept. But we must state the properties of this concept to identify it. some of the properties of the lines are:
1. It consists of an infinite number of points
2. It is unlimited. that is: it has no end points
3. Two different straight lines can intersect in at most one point
4. If two points are common between two lines then the two lines coincide
so through two different points you can determine exactly one line

A line, or straight line, can be described as an (infinitely) thin, (infinitely) long, perfectly straight curve (the term curve in mathematics includes "straight curves").
In Euclidean geometry, exactly one line can be found that passes through any two points. The line provides the shortest connection between the points.

Point, line, plane, etc. are basic concepts in any geometry, euclidean or non-euclidean. Together with the 5 axioms they form the foundation (axiomatics) of the theory.

So, line is not defined. It can be constructed though (drawn).
Two points "define" one only line is one of the 5 axioms in Euclidean geometry.
