Meagan's Law is as good as any. Most all laws have unintended consequences, some of them worse than others.

Megan's law is vital to protecting our nations children from repeat sex offenders. I heard Megan's mother speak once a conference and it was moving. Read some of the sick things that they have done and then let me know if you think Mega's law is a good law or not.

We don't have that law in Britain, but Sara's law named after the little girl Sara Pain that was abducted and killed is being debated in the UK and is basically the same. Were full of political correctness in this country that says it would infringe the rights of the pedophiles, i say they have no human rights once they take a life. Hope it goes thru soon, i agree that occasionally the wrong person will be targeted in the community and subjected to abuse or violence but if it saves one little girl/boy from being abused then it's a small price to pay. regards Tony1903..

Not really, it purports to identify sexual predators after the get out of jail. A far better law would be mandatory castration for any first offense and instant death for any second offense

i think so! as a mother myself id like to know if there was anyone who preyed on children in my area. i wish uk would stop farting about and get sarahs law set up here! surely keeping children safe should be a prioity espically in the world today. altho i do keep my child away from people we dont know - u still never know! look at a case in england with jessica and holly - their killer worked at their school!
