The big "suckhole" was scary. I thought the "machine" theory was way "out there", since it takes humans to actually make them. What are y'all's thoughts?

You mean the "documentary" about global disasters featured on Discovery-Science and National Geographic, and the Sci-Fi Channel? The one that talks about the creation of a "strangelet" by scientists?

Highly unlikely. I wouldn't worry. And if they created one, as depicted, there wouldn't be a whole lot of time to regret it.

Considering the energies involved in various astrophysical processes, it is very difficult to imagine that anything we do in our terrestrial laboratories has not already occurred in nature.
