That is what people say when they are being cheeted upon, or when they are cheeting in a relationship, and they want to keep that aside and forge ahead. Now listen, there is northing like "Love is Blind" LOVE CAN SEE very very well.

Yes love is blind. When you first get into a relationship you refuse to see the other person for what they really are. You don't listen to your friends or family about the awful reality of the other person. Love is defiantly blind.

You are so blinded by being in Love that you don't see the things that others around you see.
Yes, I beleive it is real and has happened to me! She stole my car, and ran a pole all of the way down the side, it was a brand new Trans Am and she even lied to the Police when we called to report that the car had been hit, so as she told me the insutrance would pay to fix it. When the police did the follow-up investigation, (as this was classified as a hit-and-run which in Georgia at that time was a bad a robbery) it was discovered that she had been driving the car at the time, reported that the car was at a certain location parked when hit, and tried to get a report herself. Later the same investigator looked at where the car was parked and due to evidence at that scene determained someone was lying. (Pollen was all over the ground, and my tire tracks came straight into the space, not shoved to the side as would have happened if it had been hit like it looked, also no paint was on the ground and allot was missing) I still did not see that the officer was telling me she was guilty, since had ruled me out when he found out I was working and drove my motocycle to work. So when they came to arrest her for insurance fraud, then I started to get a clue as the true nature of what she wanted from me. Basically what friends and family were trying to tell me, was she wanted my money and toys and the freedom to do as she pleased while I was at work!
So in this case I was very blind to what was going on around me, and didn't want to hear any bad things about her cause I loved her so much, it took the police to show me my error!

Love accepts everything...with it's good qualities as well as flaws!
Love is blind because we become childish and immature at that time. We believe everything. We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly. And even if that person leaves you, you will always see the good sides..but in arguments we retort all the flaws of that person!! It's like a spell on us: once broken, the reality surfaces..

I agree with the conclusion that love is blind, you won't see the negative traits of the person you love til it's too late.
Love is usually person A trying to mold person B into what person A wants.

I am new at it, but I do think that love is blind. You never think that anything will go wrong, that it will last forever. I'm just hoping that this is true!

It mean that when you are in love with somebody you are blinded to their faults. I don't think is true - but love can distort things for you for a while.

i don't believe it's a trait where you don't see the bad parts of people...i think they call it blind ..cause we tend to look the other way....you are blinded by you love...all people have some bad tendencies...some are worse than others...some people can put up with dishonest, abusive, hurtful lovers...some except those things in lovers...i think it came from other people saying "are you blind" but to our selves we still love them no matter what....and we aren't blind to their actions....we just look the other way....
