Anyone can be a glamlour model as long as they have the right attitude, measurements are not set in stone people look for a unique look not just a few numbers. If you are happy with the work, and don't expect overnight success, you will be fine. If you are actually thinking about it here is some advise.
I have heard a lot of bad thing about SOME (not all) modelling agencies and how they make you pay for photos and photo sessions before they take you on then never give you any work. Always check with the local Better Business Bureau in teh US or Trading Standards in the Uk or Similar organisation elsewhere.
I think a better starting place before you go to agencies is if you have a friend who is reasonable with a camera (do not have to be a professional or even that good just okay) Just take 100 photos of yourself in different poses, clothing and backgrounds then pick out 10-20 nice photos. You can then use this as a portfolio, and even better instead of printing them which cost you money every time, host them on a website and get some business cards print with the website address on and just hand these out instead. This is a far cheaper way of doing it and with no RISK. You should never have to pay to get a job if you do there is a high chance it is a scam.
However if you would like a personal portfolio site please contact me and I will set you on up for free. I can design you a fully personalised flash website with as much or little information and then host it for you. This site can contain a gallery of your photos, personal information, list of work, contact details, etc or if you prefer just a couple of photos and nothing else. It can be password protected and all images will be protected as is humanly possible, or the photos can be available to download.
Examples of work can be provided on request. Just message me here if you want, I am a professional website designer but have lots of free time (and enough money) so I am currently doing free sites for small bands, small artist etc, basically anyone who could not afford them otherwise. I have my own hosting server so can offer hosting servers or you can host the site yourselves. No images sent to me will be used for anything other than your site and I will not give anyone your detail or link to the site. You will have complete control and the site can be removed or changed at any time. This is not a scam and I will design a site for FREE, I do not need the money, and enjoy working. If you do want it message me you can tell me what you want and how you want it done and I will help.

To be a good glamour model you need to be savvy, thick skinned and don't get taken for a ride by anyone.
The first thing to do is to be really objective about yourself - I don't mean overly critical - but think about all of your good points and any bad points you have. Loads of models have bits that aren't perfect but they are good because they know this and can use the camera to mask or hide their not so great bits.
Make sure you have a fabulous smile so get down to the dentist and sort out your teeth - they should be pearly white not dingy grey. If you smoke consier giving up or cutting down as they also affect the colour of your teeth. Look through the magazines that have glamour models and they always have great teeth.
Find a friend to take a few snaps of you with a bikini on and see how comfortable you feel in front of a camera. If this makes you blush a bit then think how you would feel in front of a stranger who is taking picutres. Get these shots to be as good a possible and send these off to agencies who specialise in glamour shoots. Try in the advert pages of professional photography magazines as they often advertise that they have glamour models so it's worth getting signed up to a good reptutable agencies rather than a manky office above a betting shop!
Also think about the type of glamour shots you want to be in - the traditional page 3? The arty "tasteful" stuff? Or perhaps the fetish and bondage market? Also consider how far you would be willing to go on a shoot. Topless, nude, or pornagraphic and all the phases in between.
It is a very tough market to get into as loads of women think that it is a good way to become famous and rich but to start with the hours can be long and tiring - remember that you are at the beck and call of the photographer - and not always well paid. Decide on your limits and make them known to your agencies and don't get pressed into doing things that you are uncomfortable with.
Be safe and take a friend with you whenever you go to a job but most of all have fun - models who enjoy their work get more work and it shows on the page.

Get a ridiculous t*t job, pump collagen into your lips until they look like bratwursts, take your kit off and replace whatever brain matter you have with gravel..hey presto, instant glamour model. Oh, and if you can, shamelessly self promote your chest at every available opportunity, even if means losing whatever shred of dignity you had in the first place!

Hiya. It takes determination and you have to be a strong person. Reliability also. It is so competitive you have to know what you want and your levels and stick to them no matter what! If you get any shoots ALWAYS take a chaperone.. if the photographers are professional they'll expect this anyway but it's always good to check. Dont' sell yourself for peanuts either... once you've got some experience it will get easier to get work. I hope you do well - and keep at it! everyone gets knock backs in the beginning so don't worry x

Oh f&cking brilliant - another dumb *** whose sole ambition in life is to get her **** out. Aye because the world needs another one. Has your hair dye penetrated your brain cells or have you used too much bleach on your teeth?? Get a grip girl. In answer to your question, I don't imagine its too difficult or takes much and the best way to go about it would be to forget you had the idea in the first place.

You have to be quite smart, otherwise the agents do you over. And don't sleep around. Have a bit of class.

My friend had a shoot with him and I really liked her pictures. I think you can contact him through his site.
If you do manage to get a shoot - take someone with you.
Best of luck.
