Works by Dickens have been published in huge numbers and unless yours is a first edition or is in a very special binding it will be worth next to nothing. The same applies to the Enid Blyton books.

Go on that tv show antique roadshow and ask them, but make sure to make up some interesting story and act suprised when they give you your answer. Those are very important!
