It's a great day out.
I went this Summer and we saw so much. A bear crossed the road right in front of us, we saw lions 'doing it' and fighting and monkeys ripped the seal off the roof of the car in front!!
The safari drive is by far the best bit though. It takes about an hour so we went round that bit twice. Though if it's a hot day, take some water because it was unbarable being in a roasting hot car and not being able to open the windows!
There is other bits that you can walk through where you can see smaller animals, which are good though not as much fun! There is also a children's play area which is okay, though they are about to refurbish it this year.
There are also shows throughout the day. Pick a leaflet up on the way in and plan your dar around that. The sealion show is quite good.
It's worth taking a picnic too if it's a nice day because the food is very expensive, though surprisingly good.
Have a fun day anyway!

Hi MIKE G
<>
Please don't recommend to feed the monkeys at Woburn Safari Park, it is a misconception that monkeys eat bananas and this kind of sugary fruit is actually very damaging to their health. The animal keepers at the park actively discourage guests from feeding the animals and you will be asked to leave the park if you are caught doing so.
Many thank, Abi Crowley

Its a great day out. The highlight for my son was the monkeys jumping all over the car. You may have to cheat though, before you drive into the monkey enclosure, leave a few bits of banana discreetly placed under your wipers or on the roof. They will be all over you. I have some wonderful pics of them. Dont let the keepers catch you. As for the rest of the park it is great fun too. Hope the weather is good for you. A lot of the animals take cover if it is raining. Have a great time.

Its a great day out, the safari drive lets you get really close to all sorts of wild animals, the rest of the park has great displays of other animals from elephants to seals, don't bother going to see the house its not very good for children.

I'm not so sure about the one your going to I had to look it up to see were it was lol. I am from Oregon and the one we have here I thought was really neat. I took my son and 1 of his friends when he was 15 and we had a blast. The animals weren't as active as usual but we enjoyed just hanging out getting away from the stress of home, chores, etc. I guess the point I'm trying to make is even if its not spectacular, at least your out with your family and doing something to spend time together isn't that what its really about.
