It may be outdated but I still think it's the best thing on TV. Every episode is fantastic. They need to make that new film! Anyone know anything about it?

My favorite T.V. series ever. I have every season on dvd and the movie. I still watch it and I miss the show. Yeah, I'd say I am obsessed. Too bad David Duchovny wanted out. You see his career hasn't gone anywhere since the show. That's a shame. Love him and all the players on there.

I agree it was and still is one of the best shows on tv, I heard that the new film will be a standalone tale and not based on any of the alien mythology that ran central to the series, i also heard that it could very well be a prequel to the first series, nothing concrete though.

No but it was a very good series, I had a bit of a crush on A D Skinner :)
I heard a few years back that they were making another film, but I haven't heard anything about it since :(

The X Files is like a bath - once you get into it it doesn't feel so hot.
