I know where you're coming from, but I actually think that increased security makes people feel safer.
If security wasn't increased, that would be more terrifying, knowing that some misguided religious nut could get on the plane and blow it up!

The excessive security measures are an affirmation that the terrorists have reached their goals. The populace is now terrified. Terrorists need platforms and the UKUSA government provides this platform to them. The "security" measures they put in place further the goals of the terrorists AND the government. A scared populace is easier to control, hence the more terror activity and the more display of security forces the better for the UKUSA government.

Whenever there is an increase in security measures, in response to terror threats, there is a debate among the responsible people whether the extra measures are necessary, actual measures are always a compromise between the requirements of total security, and the lack of comfort and hysteria caused to citizens.
The solution is "the golden path" that will also be acceptable by the public, although there will always be those who'll complain and not think of the prevented risks

In what way would security measure help them?
I travel constantly and have not met one person who feels terrorized as a result of additional security measures. Inconvenienced at worst.
There may be some fools somewhere cowering in a basement worrying about terrorists at the airport but, quite frankly, they do not count.

It’s a question of scale we are able to unfold love and have confidence between one hundred people and in user-friendly terms one terrorist on a taking photographs spree or with a suicide bomb can wreck all of it and greater by making use of killing in simple terms one individual. No mater what we do right here we are able to’t substitute that. Plus the main factor of this board is to unfold understanding not love. we would desire this is real, besides the undeniable fact that that's not.

In a round-about way, yes. It draws attention to the effects that alternative views - and actions taken - have on our day-to-day life, and garners a response from the public that may - at some future time - result in a change of policy by the powers that be.
However, those excessive measures just might save your life.

Not really because the terrorists would win if we didn't travel and were scared to do anything like go into shopping centres and live our lives in our own way. We are still living our lives so no they don't win it is just a temporary thing not a permanent thing.

Possibly. But at the end of the day i'd rather be delayed in the airport for an hour going thru all the security checks etc and arrive in my destination than be blown into a hundreds pieces and not arrive. But you thats just my opinion.

In a matter of speaking yes.
What I don't think most people realize is that this is not so much about preventing terrorism as is to prevent dissent of the people. All of these hurried and passed laws mirror closely to what happened in Germany prior to and during WW2.
The real terrorist might be closer than we are ready to admit.

The Bush administrations general response to terrorism does, in my opinion, help the terrorist's long term goals
I believe that the key feature of our society and our success lies in our freedoms. In its fight against terror, Bush and his cronies have been severly restricting those freedoms.
The old quote "Give me liberty or give me death" still holds. I really do not care if my liberty is taken by Bush or Bin Laden -- it is still taken and I will fight.

Imagine a group of people. They have the power to send the economy into a depression so severe that money would become useless.
Imagine a group of people who have presidents in their hands, kings in their pockets, prime ministers wrapped around their fingers.
Imagine a group of people so perverse and ingrained into the worlds society that you could never believe they really exist.
Imagine a group of people that would start wars for profit, kill thousands for power, murder millions for security and destroy billions to maximize resources.
