It's important for you not to start using narcotic sleep aids. Start with over the counter meds. Like Tylenol Pm or Unisom, etc. You don't want to go for the hard stuff because if you do and it doesn't work. You will want more and most likely become addicted. Hope this helped.

Benadryl 50mg before bed. It's the active ingredient in most sleep aids (over the counter). Buy the generic(diphenhydramine) & save major $$ over things like Tylenol PM. It's not addicting & has no real side effects if taken according to directions.

All sleep aids including meditation and drugs cause psychological addiction.
Short acting benzodiazepines are recommended for short term use. Alprazolam or Lorazepam might do the trick.

hops flower tea. it,s very bitter so have some mouthwash handy to use after you chugalug it,but it will work every time. expierment to find your corect dosage. you may have to try it for a few nights,and it,s a good pain reliever too!

My doctor prescribed me zopiclone, it is a good one that I found to have no side effects. It is for occaisional use though, not every night.
