i have a friend who is quite close to me... i dont know if she has anything for me... i wanna try to propose her.. the problem with this is that if i propose and she rejects.. then thats the end of this friendship ( i know coz another guy tried it with her)... i need a inventive way to propose to her such that if she rejects it doesnt affect this friendship... or i need a way to find out if she loves me or not... wee something other than asking her....

Dont propose first.....ask her if she has ever thought about you in a boyfriend kind of way and if she asks you why just tell her the thought popped into your head and you were just wondering....then go from there.

Just ask her if she has any feelings for you before you propose. Ask her EXACTLY how she feels about you. If she is saying things that sounds like she likes you romantically.
If she says she only likes you as a friend then I guess you have no choice but to keep her as a friend.

Why would you propose to some one who is just a friend, if one of my friends proposed to me I would reject them, you are supposed to have a relationship with some one before you think of proposing to them.
