I wonder what strategies one would use to "conquer the gay market"....strategies, battle plans, supply lines, and so forth. What would it take to ensure victory?

I would imagine it would take an innate sense of style and color, a working knowledge of wines, a mobile PA system with a looping playback of "Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli Live at the London Palladium", large banners of Joan Crawford's hands, and a copious amount of non-oxynol water-based lubricant.

Easy as falling off a greased log.

But then, maybe I'm making a generalisation.

Man,....I think that is how they turn gay. Look at Ricky Martin, he
started when he was little. Now, Lance Bass. Just seems that
Hollywood attracts gays big time. It's like half are & half aren't.

No, you have to 'become' gay, and then sell yourself to the market. Like that one little piggy. You know he didn't 'go off to market' his dad kicked him out of the house because he was ashamed.
