I have a PC and would like to buy an Apple Computer

all computers are subject to security holes....
with that said using a pc with unix or linux would be just as if not more secure then a mac, but since os x is now running on darwin (unix based) kernel it is more stable and is less likely to be attacked (compared to a M$ system). does that make a mac better? personally i say no. I don't like the gui, i'm not a fan of big bubbly happy shi+ all over the place, but if your into that go nuts.


as for the comment above about the browsers (that person has their head up their @ss) you can get both opera and firefox for the mac.

Apple uses Firefox, Safari, Opera browers even Internet
Explorer but I don't think it's supported anymore.

You asked if Apple has the same problems as Windows no OSX is more stable and less flakey than Windows it comes secure by default in the box.
