I really like this questions, btw!! Ok, so when I was little instead of saying "ask" I would say a certain bad work that sounds very familiar (drop the 'k'). spaghetti used to be spas-sketti. I also used to think that the phrase "finders keepers losers weepers" was "finders keepers, losers, sweepers" I actually thought the loser had to do some sweeping.
and my 2 year old nephew loves the Thomas cartoon with the little trains, there is a character on it named Percy. I let you figure out what he usually says instead.

I have a cousin who always pronounced 'fruit' as if she was French - even from infant age. I I have other relatives who once called high rise flats 'boogin house' (boogin = building, I think) and the same one said badith for Rabbit.

My Mum told me when I was younger that I used to say 'Kicking minster' instead of Kidderminster. I haven't got a clue how I couldn't pronouce it. In the end my sister taught me how to say it. She told me to say 'kid' then 'minster'. Dont worry I don't have any problems now.

When my dad was little, he coudnt pronounce his name [Domantas] and said its Ninoptis, which i find very funny [my grandmother told that..]
The girl i practically raised [my mothers god daughter] also said a very cute thing once. She was about 3 years old when her mom brought a little kitty home and wanted to name her musÄ [fly in lithuanian], and the girl kept telling her mother:
"But mom, this is not a fly, its a kitty!"

My little boy says Lellow for Yellow, Maservatory for Conservatory and Moputer for Computer. No matter how many times I correct him, he always reverts back to his way..
His name begins with a "C" so I know he can say it.
My husband used to argue with me that "thief" was pronounced "fieth".. ..

My baby brother used to call all animals, regardless of species, "gagas". When we went to Sea World he pointed at a whale and said "sea gaga!".
Maybe you had to be there. That's usually the case with cute baby stories!!!

Our little boy used to say 'bagpa' for bagpipes, and 'garden' for tractor. When he was about 10, he watched an electrical storm for a while then said,
"It's God taking flash photos and grumbling at the results."
