It's at the end of the day, so you can just relax and not worry about having to go do something;
It's dark outside;
After you are done, you will probably fall asleep and wake up by your partner (sleeping with someone, that's where the term comes from);
It's quiet;
It's just some peoples preference!

the day of full of work and kids. that's stressful. sex at night is a good way to relax and get a good night's sleep.

I prefer to have it anytime but getting it in the morning is great! In fact it's better than a cup of coffee!
