Depends if it's just rising or penetrative damp. I have just had quote done on a 3 bed terraced house, rising damp only,with replastering and new skirting boards, £1200 but this was with a national company so you can probably get it much cheaper.
Call a few builders out to give you quotes. You can get a quote without having to commit to anything.

You have to get someone to come out and have a look at the situation really as that's probably the only way you can tell.

Be wary though - I'm trying to find someone to come and have a look at something for me and our biggest local damp company have been on Watch Dog several times!!

If possible, get someone recommended through a friend.

Ask around friend and family for recommendation of good damp proof companies and then ring a couple and get them to come and quote you. Your local council should have a list of recommended tradesmen so you could ask them too.

Do it on yourself - you can hire the damp proof injector from HSS for £50 a weekend plus they sell the injection fluid. Its a doddle to do and then you just mortor in the holes
