Small intestine and urinary system in humans are different from each other since 4 weeks of intra uterine life. Constipation is an ailment of large intestine. Even that is not much related to urinary system. But the nerve supply to the last part of large intestine ie rectum and anus , and the last part of urinary system ie urethra are from same spinal segments. In intrauterine life and in lower animals both large intestine and urinary system have a common opening called cloaca. So most adults retain the quality of releasing urine and stool simultaneously. Constipation is totally different.
