I can open the main sites but when I click on links I get the 'cannot find server' page.

Most likely its because the page no longer exists! Many sites are old and havent been properly taken care of, there are lots of bad links on the net. Sometimes its due to people no longer storing their site on that server.

Not all internet sites can be accessed freely. At times you have to pay for a particular site. Do not bother yourself should you find 'Cannot find server page' Get help from the IT Specialist next door.

It may just be a simple fact that the server of the website is currently too busy and your connection just times out.

may have been nerutralised by some program such as fortiguard (in my school) or may have been placed as restricted sites on the internet options.
also there maybe parental control set by the administrator.
not only that the site may be closed or no longer there
depends...

1) the website may temporary close...
2) u r filling wrong address.. plz do a search on google abt ur title of website..
3) ur network connection is not give a specific response to ur computer...
4) u should enable cooking 4 that website..

properly, in case you own Vista it would be your protection processing the website. yet another one might desire to be your information superhighway acess. some web pages are slower or quicker than others on particular information superhighway accesses.

May be the web "page" was gone. therefore you can not see the page ^^
