'You' as in you!

Not material things. I'm content with shelter, a good running car, etc. What I wish I had was wisdom, patience, smarts (brain power)...I guess I can have these, but it's harder to do these than acquiring material stuff.

I think we all do at some point or time.

If you live in an apartment you may want a home of your own but can't afford it.

If you are taking the bus to work you may want a car and can't afford it.

If you are in a sinking boat you may want some LAND self explanatory.

So you really need to narrow your question a little because there are many everyday normal things that people would want and can't have.

( Like a 6th cuppppp offfff cofffeeee !!! )

Yeah.
I mostly dream about it.
I even wonder how I'd get it.
I sometimes formulate a plan to obtain it.
But hell if I'm aware I can't have it no matter what I do, I just keep it as another 'day dream'. Example, I want to be among the crew of the space shuttle in orbit. :P

Wanting things I can't have is an affliction. I plan to work on it until I am cured.

Yes, lots! :)

I'd like a log cabin with a gazebo in the back yard and a pool. I don't think I'll ever have money to buy this. And I'd like my mechanic never to charge me for anything again.

No, I'm really content with my life. In the old hippie parlance, I don't dig material things. I would like more time with my husband and kids, but that's how life is.
