I have some business studies to do; i need to write about a PCL companies but i cant any.
does anyone know of any major PCL companie's or has a link to a list of them???

Likely you mean "plc", crack open the phone book, and look for major companies in your area.
You should also look at http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk as that has all limited companies details, but be careful as it lists both plc & ltd. Make sure you look at the info page as it will tell you there which it is.

Public Limited Companies can be found at www.companieshouse.co.uk If you have just to write about what a PLC is then used www.bized.co.uk im sure you will find info there about what they are and how there run. Good Luck

Off the top of my head - what about the Arcadia Group (Topshop, Burtons etc), John Lewis, Debenhams, Next, Starbucks, Natwest Bank...

if so , theres loads of them...best place to start is the financial times....then phone the company and ask them for their last annual report....and ull be lovin it
