i had broken my left thumb late last year and it has healed but it is still slightly slanted. I can bend it and do normal things like write and it is very unotisable, as a matter of fact...you would never know anything was wrong with it! but when i pick up a bat and take a couple of swings i can feel the bat on the inside of my thumb with very small pressure as if somone were sqeezing it...so my question is what precautions should i take and are there any type of hand braces i can wear for baseball

Lingering injuries suck, you just have to take extra care when not playing. The pain, more than likely won't go away. I broke my hand (glove hand) in the palm area. It still hurts to this day, far from unbearable, but it swells up every time I play a game. And I broke my hand nearly 10 years ago! All you can do is wear batting gloves, maybe go to a sports doctor and see if there is anything that you can do to pad it. Play through the pain man, don't think about it too much or it will ruin your swing. Good luck!

Obviously, you can't till your thumb gets okay! The best is to see a doctor, have you?
