Someone always wants to say that faith is nothing. I only can reply as my friend Dr. Bill Matheson of Comp lit at Wash U in St.Louis, Mo. once told me>>> it "is not nothing!"

It currently has landed me in a little submountain village in Slovakia. A big leap of faith from Southern California to here. Wish me luck; I need it!

If faith is the belief in something that you can not see, and you have to see something to know how big it is, then how would there be any size to faith. So if faith is not proportionate then it could not be giant. And if you believe in something then you are not leaping anywhere you believe in this and it does not require the struggle that the word leap implies. So either you are posing a meaningless question or you would land where you are.

I have taken several giant leaps of faith in my life and they all land me in a great learning experience. Guess it just depends on the person. I highly recommend taking giant leaps of faith. Even if it doesn't work out the way you hoped, it will always be a learning experience.

Heaven, Hell, obviate, with a million bugs, bad debt, in sadness or love, on the Moon, speeding into outer space, knee deep in the pool, in the toilet up to your eyeballs, down stairs with a broken neck.

Those and many more are your options so leap all you want. Know that what you pick isn't necessary what you get. Be wise...

I did I landed in the loving arms of Jesus Christ, though I wouldn't call it a giant leap of faith because I researched every scientific historical and geographical argument I could find as well as logic etc and found that every answer pointed to Christ and I fought it so hard I was so stubborn and then one day I just couldn't resist the Love,Grace, and forgiveness of God anymore, so I threw my hands in the air and said oh LOrd Jesus I'm sorry, I know it's only by you I'm saved."

any other leaps of faith are simply blind and God's way of showing us that only by Him are we saved that as Jesus said we can't even change the color of one hair on our head so let Him provide until we can know fully the face of the Father in Heaven
