THE SYSTEM IS LIKE THIS. WHEN WE CAST OUR VOTE WE TRY TO GIVE THE VOTE TO THE BEST CANDIDATE. BUT HE CHANGES HIMSELF AFTER WINING THE ELECTION BECAUSE OUR OFFICERS TEACH THEM HOW TO MAKE MONEY. ALL THE SYSTEM IS CORRUPT NOT ONLY POLITICIANS. WE WILL HAVE TO CHANGE THE SYSTEM INSTEAD OF LEADER.

It is rarely that people are wrong. It is the system which needs an evaluation. Look at public sector employees. How are they different from private sector employees.
They are very demotivated, under used and almost redundant. They are incapable of expressing their calibre. So are politicians, the good ones cannot come up as they may not be good at appeasing the majority. Democracy is not a solution always. The majority need not be correct. In some situations they lack the capbility to judge. There are no solutions an individual can make.
We need to unleash a movement of change. Finding the best solution. As a country India has failed to solve social issues after 60 years of freedom. The number of poor people are swelling. We lack leadership. What we elect are not leaders. Since they are not capable of solving problems they become corrupt. Our system cannot elect capable people.
The minimum option is to have a presidential system of the American model. We need to put accountability of the highest order on one man or woman. Collective responsibility is no responsibility. All our country men together should elect our leader for the country. Similarly we should elect our chief ministers directly. Only then the accountability comes. Every single person is responsible and trustworthy in this world up to his capability.
All we got to do is to hunt for the right man for every job.

That's what makes the world go round...We don't have much of a coice to choose from then our votes don't count for much anyway since it's all taken out of our hands and given over to still yet another branch of the government to make the decision for us, and of course, the majority of any of the politicians in office or running for any type of office are lawyers who are 1st trained as a
defense attorney to get the guilty off free then trained as a prosecutor to get the guilty and innocent convicted with a death penalty if possible then they go into a stronger political office..Hello? Do we really need to wonder about any of this other than why haven't we woken up long before now and come together to put an end to the obvious tyranny we live under....We as a group are strong enough without violence to boycott with succes the coffee companies to bring down prices, I was there when my mother and the other neighborhood mothers came together and did that, so hello???? If just a few women together can have such an impact on the coffee industry then why can't the rest of us come together to drive fuel prices back down and to begin a new era of politics by ensuring that our votes DO count
and get the persons in office who will help society instead of lining their own pockets? How many of you know that the politicians will never have to receive a social security check because they've paid themselves a lovely paycheck of over $100,000.00 per year as well as a yearly increase after they have retired? The same has been set up for their wives whether they have earned an income ever or not...My mother tries to exist on just over $800.00 per month...she does not own her own home, she does own her car, and thank God that she's not on more meds per month than what she already has to rely on!!! Sorry, I went over the top a bit there...Yeah, anyway, I think between all of us that have answered this question here you may be able to pick a good answer from one of them or by combining them, who knows? Bottom line, you're right, those who seek it abuse it, those who have it thrust upon them do it with a conscience.

Personal interest is always involved in politics.
Some seek fame ..and some seek power itself
to use or abuse it.
In a democracy, even if some sections do not vote,
the country will move.
The world is a question of survival of the fittest..
and it is true of politics also.
A true politician stands the test of time
like Abraham Lincon, the Great former US President.
Hence, politics is an inevitable necessity in a democracy.
It is actually our power assigned to some one else.
We should rather promote right politics and exercise
our power correctly. That's all.

There are two motives to seek power. For personal gains or to serve mankind. The latter is rare but still there are good men among politicians too.
Its an advantage of democracy that people have the right to choose between the two. If the people are educated and well-informed, they will make a right choice. Gullible people will opt for the demagogues and rhetoricians. While intelligent people will opt for politicians whose actions, character and records are unblemished.

Yes I agree with you. Those who seek power can not be trusted because he/she will misuse his/her power. They are worse if for having a poiwer he/she should pay a big amount of money to his/her political party as his/her tool coming into power. In his/her office term he/she will try hard to take his/her money back larger than he/she paid for.He/she will be unwise and unfair. We voted for the scheming politicians because we can not select the other one outside the list of political parties. Most of them are ill intention and unfit qualification for their jobs. The best way is voting for someone who has an excelence track records, humble wise and honest.

it takes MONEY to run for an office and those who run...have the MONEY.
I don't don't think there is a poor person or a middle income person who can compete with that kind of MONEY. We can only vote for what is put in front of us.

bwcoz we poeple never raise voice against them
we think politics is for rich people and so we never give it a chance
and few good people who do that do'nt get any thing as they do'nt have money
so the point is that until and unless we the masses will not open our eyes we can do nothing

Because before they are elected, they brain wash the **** out of those drones who know no better. As for us who see and seek the truth, we are anarchists, non believers, freedom haters, terrorists and what have you."If you arent with them, you are against them"is usually how our government puts it. At least you and I see the truth, God bless ya!!!
