Oh yes I tip him or her! We only order pizza to be delivered at the most twice a month, so it's not going to kill us to give them a nice tip. I don't even send my husband to the door because I am afraid he will not show them enough gratitude, and you would be surprised but I think they have put a star by my name, they call me by my name, and when I give them the extra money (usually more than I would tip a waitress in a restaurant) and usually I tip better than my husband...they always smile and say "thank you".
My pizzas are always good and hot, and here in good time! With the price of gas and the added convenience of having dinner prepared and brought to our home...well it just makes me feel generous because I think a lot of people try to "cheap" (sneak) their way out of giving these folks a good tip, and if the service is good I ALWAYS tip well!
Same with the man from the Chinese place that delivers, we don't do it often, but if they drive to bring me good hot food, I usually over tip, the price of gas out here in Arizona is OUTRAGEOUS!

This tipping thing is WAY of control . The true meaning of the word, is that the person serving you has gone ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty. THAT IS A TIP! I worked as a caddy(the only girl caddy around here) for about 10 years. I was only tipped when I deserved it. And BELIEVE me...caddying is a lot more strenuous and difficult than delivering a pizza.
SOOO, do I tip the pizza guy...when he is on time and polite ,and then, not a huge amount.

You don't need to Tip the Pizza Man but, I always do. He lives off of your tips plus mileage. If he doesn't get tips, then you don't have a Pizza man.

I tip, but not very much since there is usually a built-in "Delivery Charge" in the total cost these days. If it's like $12.35, I usually give $13-$15, depending on my money situation or how nice or efficient the person is.

You should tip them. They did you a service, why not? My rule is as follows: Don't **** with those who prepare your food. The pizza guy may not make your pizzas, but I bet you he knows the guy that does.

Yes, always. The poor schmucks are working hard running all over town, knocking on strange doors. They deserve a few bucks for their toils.

Of course I tip them, and usually pretty well. With gas prices the way they are, and the amount of time they spend dealing with all types of people, I think they certainly deserve it.

It depends on how long it took to get my pizza. If it's fast, yes. If it's cold, I send it back with him.
