When dreams are fulfilled; for instance, becoming a mother, then you develop new goals. Same as if dreams are not going to come true. You have to always have a big picture in mind; plans to attain it; and alternatives in case it does not work out. If it all works out great, time to prepare for more future goals.
I've had dreams come true & then battled breast cancer...talk about reprioritizing! Enjoy life best as you can one and all.

well it depends on what that dream was...if it was to find a right standing with Your eternal Father via the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, then you are pretty much set and you canbask in eternal joy, and spend your time left trying to fully build that relationship with Him as He shows you how to truly Love selflessly and perfectly when He took the punishment for everything everyone would do wrong but only those who ask for forgiveness will recieve it by God's amazing Love and Grace we are saved.
but if it's a material or emotional thing, you will never be fully satisfied, but i guess that's why people call it a God shaped hole in your heart.

You have to decide if you are going to do anything about it. If a monster is chasing you, you had better run.
If you dream you should chase a certain young man or lady, then you might become the monster.
We still have to take responsibility for our actions.
