At the moment... Time Trumpet. Kath and Kim, Scrubs, Supernova, the re-run of Extras... and, unintentionally, the Ten O'Clock News on ITV.

i dont have a tv, because of a total lack of good quality comedy
you should try listening to radio 7 - bbc comedy...
www.bbc.co.uk/radio
i think the funniest shows on tv, were the weather, i mean.... 50% wrong, so why bother, just seems funny that they do it and get it wrong every other day
i also love the qvc 5 hour jewlery specials, where some poor woman talks non stop, about a 9crt, low quality single strand gold necklace, for lik 30 minutes
"gold the metal of kings" - ha ha ha
then the next one is silver...
"silver the metal of kings....

I think Scrubs is incredibly funny and well written. South Park is also always great for a laugh.
I'd say conventional Sitcoms are in a sorry state right now. Two and a Half Men just lacks smart humor like Sienfeld and Raymonds had.

You guys might not get it south othe border, but the funniest tv program is Still Game. Provides the best comeback line ever:
Barman: Victor your looking a bit fat there, ha, ha
Victor: The only reason I'm fat is because every time I shag your wife she offers me a sandwich! lol

X Factor. It's really funny how people really believe they have something special, and I love all the music that plays in the background. Did you watch the episode where the granny had a go at Simon and they were playing the Jaws music to add dramatic effects. I was rolling around laughing my head off!!!

The Office- English version obviously. Its the best comedy hands down that has ever appeared on tv. Its full a cringy real life events that everyone can relate to every time that they view it. It ticks all of the boxes that comedy should tick.

The Office, they deserve the Emmy. The acting is so natural, I actually think Steve Carrell is the one that's most overacting of the whole bunch.
It's funny not in the stupid slapstick sense.
Runner up: The Simpsons. Still golden after all these years.

Two and a Half Men. The constant banter is witty and hilarious. That show should be an hour long. I don't know how they get away with most of the things they say, but I'm glad they do.
