Have u bin told that she has lactose intolerance ?? it could just be colic.
If she does have lactose intolerance, you can visit the doctor and they can prscribe lactose free milk... 2 of my children had to take it, you have to get it on prescription... has your child got these symptoms ?
crying all the time
unable to settle
vomits after EVERY feed
if so then I think your right... I used SMA LF it was fantastic !! be careful when you come to wean, because you will be suprised at what foods have milk contained in them
Good Luck, know exactly what your going through.

Let her have a vegan diet. Lactose intolerance is not a bad thing. Its not even unnatural. Its just that we are lead to believe some things which are just not true, like we should be drinking lots of milk. No other animal except humans drink milk after they are weaned from their mother's breast. Drinking milk is not a natural thing to do.
Now that the problem has been recognised just go with it, and keep milk, and other animal products out of her diet.

If you are still breastfeeding her then you have to cut out the lactose for her sake otherwise there are plenty of soy based formulas on the market, my daughter was on Karicare. Lactose free milk is also available. Some milk products she may still be able to have like cheese and yoghurt because the lactose is broken down in the processing.

Giving a baby a vegan diet should be considered child abuse; babies need a variety of nutrients and their digestive systems are undeveloped. If you really want to have a child with anaemia, poor mental and physical development, go ahead and feed them on food they can't digest.......
Lactose-free milk isn't hard to find these days, but as another answerer mentioned, you should check with your doctor if you haven't already done so.
Veganism is a lifestyle choice; babies don't have the ability to choose, so they should be eating a normal diet until they are old enough to delude themselves into believing it's a good thing to be pale, weak, and flatulent....

If you were to breast feed - there would be no intolerance. Other thyan that - you'll have to avoid lactose. It is the same with any intolerance - you simply avoid it!

Well, you could replace her dairy intake with lactose-free milk or soy milk and other soy products.
