It is amazing how many steeler fans come out of the woodwork after a superbowl win!! It takes a real fan to stand beside a losing team!!!!

I like the Bengals but they have no D. Their offense will sell tickets but their D has no character. Until they get a good D, they'll keep losing in the playoffs.
Look at the teams that win every year; they tend to have good RB's, serviceable WR's, great lines on both sides of the ball, a great leader at QB, and a defense that plays together! The Bengals do not have that, like I said I want to see the Bengals do good, but they don't have it.

They do look impressive, but beating up on the crappy Packers isnt a good test, plus leaving the first team most the game in the previous preseason games.
The regular season will tell the true story, lets see what they do at Kansas City. They gotta tough way to go. And althought the Steelers look like crap right now, you know they come ready to play, they lost 3 of 4 preseason games last year and look what they did.
This is why I hate preseason - it just isn't a good gauge. It gets people all hyped up or bummed out without reason.

Once they keep winning, or keep having winning seasons at least, it will end. Remember 2 years ago. In case you forget they were so close to .500 and so close to the playoffs. Then they reverted to the Bungles and lost what like 3 or 4 in a row to blow it. So they get over .500 and they get in the playoffs and you expect it all to go away. Not going to happen from just ONE season. Palmer is good to great. The team got over that hump that they needed to get over and finished over .500. Now they will proably stay good IF they can do it this year. Now if they do it this year we will think they know how to win. Actually I wouldn't call them the Bungles anymore because I know they have the talent and are dangerous.

You can beat anyone who doesn't have a good offense. Your D stinks. All the guys you listed don't amount to much more than average players. It's a very undersized defense, it can't handle a strong running attack. The corners are overrated because they picked off so many balls last year. Picks are fine, but the real worth of a corner is how well he covers; none of the Bengals corners are very good at that. What I'm saying is, your team can't stop the run, and they're susceptible to getting beat deep. Not a good combo.

Don't worry, Buckeye... the BENGALS will do just fine, they will Do Their Job, and put to rest those who have no insight to what makes greatness! Marvin came to Cincy with a vision of a great team... It finally comes together, now - IT IS ALIVE!!!
BTW you left out a few names on your list - B. Robinson, R. Geathers, S. Smith, D. Peko, K. Ratliff, R. Jeanty, B. Simmons -the heart and soul of this D, AHMED - but that's in the future, L. Johnson, who will lead the team in tackles again, K. Kaesviharn...

For twenty years they have been The Bungals, do you think one playoff trip is going to change that. Put together twenty years with a winning record (average of twenty years) and I will stop calling them The Bungals.

Boy, you really opened yourself up to some abuse, didn't you? "Healthy Palmer?" Isn't that an oxymoron? And let's count how many times the Bungles have won the Super Bowl.....

Yeah they are still the Bungles. Yes they are better than they used to be but still don't have it to win the Super Bowl.

Something like that only stops once your team has hoisted AT LEAST 1 Lombardi, probally 2 or 3
It doesnt help when your uniforms look like they were stripped from a pimpmobile's interior. Superficial? yes, but true.
