Not really. They can do wonders with studio equipment, but totally changing a person's voice is not commonly done. Think about it--if you had to be in a studio with million dollar equipment in order to sing a song, what good are you? You can't sing live, on stage, or anyplace outside the recording studio. No record company would invest in that. Any jerk off the street can go into a recording studio and sound good. Some men get surgically castrated to turn or keep their voices high pitched. You might consider something like that, it's a pretty simple procedure with a relatively short recovery time.

with a harmoniser, you can not only make a low pitched voice high, but you can make a tone deaf person sing in tune, if you've heard any of Jason Donovan's stuff, that;'s strongly tweaked by harmoniser, and the spice girls used one too, both in the studio and Live,

sure can my buddy Jimbo owns a multi channel mixing board and once while slightly intoxicated he turned a tune we had recorded into something like the old Alvin and the chip monks , IT was hilarious I still have a cut of it some were. I sing baritone and he made me sound like a falsetto on a cold day!

sure. something like what they did in 'coyote ugly', where the lady changed the pitch of her voice, thats kinda what they do. nowadays, ANYTHING is possible..

yes anything is possible in a studio by adjusting the db's, till you find the right one
