Im in a long term relationship. He lives in the UK and I in the US, he dosen't email, call nor leaves me messages on yahoo/msn messenger. He's recently gotten a job in which he has no time for me, but he says he loves me. I wait for him online in which we have a couple of mins. to chat; there he squeezes i love you, miss you etc. Then he's off, the question is...either to duke it out and stay with him [as his best friend said, even my bf said to be patient] or let him go?

I've recently told him about the less time we chat online, told him about my feelings. He says that he feels bad,[the usual blah, blah] btw i chat with him on/off. And oh yea we're engaged, no i havent gotten the ring he hasn't posted it. Although i do have a promise ring.

Be patient. It isn't easy - I'm in a similar situation. Accept that he's busy and learn to treasure the times when he does contact you

I talk to my on-off boyfriend for 3 hours a day...given he has no proper job. My bf is also in Europe and I'm in Yankland (America).

It really depends on whether or not his job is that demanding. I'd probably be pissed, admittingly.

Why not make it an open relationship? Get your emotional fill from him, and entertainment elsewhere.

Let it go long distance relationships rarely work....it takes too much time and effort to sepnd on something that probably is not going to work out anyway...my advice is to find someone local or close as possible.

I am a guy that has a demanding job that used to be in an cross-continent relationship. Just letting you know...he doesn't love you and you should leave him. End of story.

wake up lady. . . there is a saying love knows no boundary. . so even though how busy he may be, he will still have time to express his feelings for you. . sorry to say but my opinion for this is. . .he takes you for granted. . a reserve in case there is no other. . .
