First, I see nothing wrong with your question whatsoever. Ask anything you want on here, as long as it is respectful towards others.
My answer to your question: It is very difficult to distinguish between straight, bi, or gay guys. (Much of the talk about dress, mannerisms, etc. rarely applies to non-straights.)
It is ESPECIALLY difficult to distinguish between a man who lives a straight life and a bisexual one. Still, if you are truly around a man long enough and get to know him well, there will be signs that he is "not totally straight." (Examples: quickly checking out other men; uncontrollable urge to stare at men, especially if they are nude (locker room) or semi-nude (beach/swimming pool); crotch-watching; single after the age of 40 or so and not really actively looking for a spouse; talking about dating women but rarely doing so; Freudian slips during conversations; getting to know a friend well and feeling safe to defend the gay lifestyle; and sometimes a complete lack of homophobia in a supposedly straight man -- and the real test is when he never refers to himself as "straight." or if he inadvertently uses the phrase "not totally straight.")
A homosexual fellow is far more likely to be straightforward and open about himself right from the get-go, even if it is just with his closest friends -- a bisexual fellow is rarely that straightfoward and open.

Gaydar is your first clue. It it is going off big time, then probably you have a gay person there. But it must be confirmed with some observation. I work as a counselor. Sometimes I have suspicions about a client, whether they are gay, bi or whatever. Can't ask usually because it is usually not relevant. A dear friend of mine who was gay looked as straight as an arrow, until you got to know him. Then I have another friend who has marine tattoos, hard-body, but you know he is gay the moment he opens his mouth.

Follow a man around till he has sex, somewhere around 10 times is good. Then, if all his partners were women, he's straight. If they were all men, he's gay. If they were mixed, he's bi.

You can't. Gay men act more straight these days than straight men. So who cares? You? Why? Are you gay?

It is usually obvious. All gay guys have 3 signs that they are gay...but you have to look for it yourself...this is what my gay guy friend told me. his 3 things are saying the word cute, his techno music, and there was something else. just because a person has one of the signs doesn't mean their gay though...they need to have 3 or more
