Butterflies are not that big of a deal. They've already eaten your plants (as a catapillar), and now they're moving on!

Those %%#! grasshoppers... About the only thing you can do is hunt for them and kill 'em.

There are some mild pesticides you can try. Look for the ones that are specifically for vegetables, and be sure to follow the directions.

Get a spray bottle, fill and add some liquid dish soap. Spray plants. Why do you want to ban butterflies?

i would put my veggies in a green house that way it would be no concern. yes i have done it and they taste just as good. but they are healthier . that is if you take care of them the way you need to.
