They're more likely to be the former than the latter, since these gays seem to be more flaunted in the media than the other gays. Thus, if someone finds himself to be gentle, soft-spoken, and intellectual, he may come to the conclusion that he's gay, experiment by getting himself drunk at a gay bar, take some strange man home with him, recognize how much easier it was than trying to score with women (because, let's face it, women are NOT attracted to gentle, soft-spoken intellectual guys, despite what they'd claim), and then announce to the world that he's gay.

Well one of my former good friends was loud and very much like a bully. If you didn't know he was gay you never would suspect he was.He loved to fight and often started fights just so he could beat someone up.He was very violent.Which is why I don't have him as a friend anymore. And he was sloppy. But passing gas is something everyone does regardless of sexuality. It is a biological function that is necessary for the system to expel gas from the digestive tract.I don't see how that has anything to do with sexuality characteristics unless you're referring to whether or not a person has any class when expelling gas.And even then, it's not based on sexuality but manners. If you were raised with manners you will know that there is a time and place for such activities out of respect for others.Your sexuality has nothing to do with whether or not you have those manners.

They are as varied as straight people.
One of my gay friends flies airplanes, climbs mountains and is a math genius...another is big into music, video games, and raises tropical fish... another is your typical flamboyant gay hairdresser. I haven't knownn any downright sloppy gay people, but I'm sure they exist too. Some are obnoxious, some are calm and some fall in between.

LOL. That is a stereotype. Yes, a lot of gay folks are neat, good decorators, good dressers, meticulous and more. But I sure have met some loud-talking, unkempt, fiddle farting slobs!

are you kidding???

a lot of the gay men I know who claim that they are gay "would like to think" that they are suave and sophisticated.

but the reality veers from the image.

yes they fart like everybody else.

It all depends on the person - to categorize one group as a whole is almost always inaccurate.,
