Do you or have you felt this way and if so, why didn't you all let us know how you felt?
Another thing, do cops really trip because you have waves? I didn't know this...I feel ashamed being a black female with brothers myself, but I don't know if they've ever been harassed for wearing wave caps!
Also, what in the world is a "gumpy curl" ?

I agree with you 100%! Me personally, I don't care if your hair is nappy, as I'm not making love to your hair...besides, men with dreads in their hair get women all the time and their hair is nappy...there's nothing dreadful about dreads...but I understand what you're talking about, I've heard a lot of women saying, "Ooooh, you got that "good" hair!" That's just ridiculous! When you hear women saying things like this, it shows their own insecurities...thanks for your answer bro'.

No, it's a wave cap(stocking cap) not du rags. A people wear it because it give them wave like people where rollers to curl their hair. I seen nappy headed guy with girls, besides whats wrong with nappy hair. I believe women makes the standard of what men do. I hear women say "oh you have nice hair" and touch on it. With that kind of attention who would keep their hair nappy.
Then agian who cares what others think, I was not put on this Earth to please anyone.
