Why pick on Liverpool? Nottingham has more gun crime than the pool. It's everywhere! And the police can only respond to what society's doing. Let's try and effect a change in people's attitudes towards each other, then we might get the society we want rather than the society we deserve.

More Scouse snarling. We're now told that Liverpool has less violence than the supposed middle-class counties like Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire...with one of the best Universities in the world and the weeping willows of Ely! It was said recently either Liverpool indeed has lost the top spot in crime...or the rest of the UK has caught up. Judging from the atmosphere in 'fine city Norwich' over the years, it looks like the latter.

crime is high, but not out of control. The Police can only work with the help of the community, thats you, me and everyone else, in bringing the offenders to book. The court is failing to deal with them in a more robust manner, but if they do then the community are up in arms about that too. the legal profession are laughing all the way to the bank and the tax payer helping them most of the way there.
The whols system is directed by human rights and greed, working hand in hand they sure know how to screw things up!
It would be much better if it were all scrapped and strted over again....with me as leader!!

Too right - I wasn't an Angel when I was Younger - but today's teenager's are out of of control - They know the Police are powerless to deal with them so they just exploit it - Glasgow's East End - places like Dennistoun, Haghill, Shettleston & Easterhouse are just total Ghettos where a new breed of criminal is being raised. And the Police have you seen them - (in no way is this a sexist comment after all I am a mad Bimbo myself) - They are wee tiny lassies 5ft 0" with a tan & hair extensions.. Who are they going to chase - apart from the Duty Officer ..? We need more Hunky ex-soldier types out on the streets..clipping brats round the ear ..

when i was a little kid, i used to play conkers......and i used to try to win as many conkers as i could by beating others....obviously the bigger and harder your conker , the more chance of you winning.....the conker was attached to a piece of string, and you had to splatter the other ones' conker by smashing it !!........
:-(..sad i know....
there's also this chinese proverb which says......"may you live in interesting times".....
and you remember the '89 tianaman square massacre...by the government on the student rioters...the main cause been ' the government not been able to speed up democracy reforms....'
and there was a lot of corruption in the chinese business world...(and indeed in other parts of the world too..where corruption is rife..).........
as the chinese go from a ..(presummerably !!)...communist state to a democratic one....ie. from a 'close' state to an 'open' one.....there's going to be a lot of change......and when change happens at a fast pace, as is happening now , in some parts of the world.......think 'mongabe in zimbabwe !'...... there's going to be chaos and disturbances...!!!!
think...also '89 ..the collapse of the berlin wall...and the east was able to migrate to the west......wanted the western lifestyle a bit more....ie..colour tvs, internet, microwave, washing machines..cars, a more 'liberal' way...or so they thought.........you know a year later....alot of them went back to the east...'cause they prefer their old lifestyle !!!......''
so to answer your question..'is crime in gerneral out of control ?'
yes it is in some parts...but only temporary...in the long term the world is moving into a more stable state........
i'm a believer in 'make-up ' and go....
i have a 2 and 5 year old niece...i learn alot from them...
i also go to church..and i believe in ..'born again'..
and as people get educated..they change and get better....we heal the state...and our 'intelligence' will carry us through....being the only thing that differs us from animals....
ps:..the cheetah been the fastest animal....and the lion is the king ! .......
oh by the way......i'm also a life long liverpool supporter !!!
.... "you'll never walk alone "........

here in albuquerque, nm, usa we're averaging about 3 shootings and a murder a week. crime is out of control and government can't keep up. and besides our government seems to have it own problem with crime, if you get my meaning
