Because your a busy person !and for some reason most of the time ur both hands are in use!so u used ur teeth and it became a habit!!

I used to have that type of phones back in the 80's
and I never once use my teeth to pull out the
antenna. Can't stand the feel of metal in my mouth
nor the taste.............like ewwwwwww!

I don't think or know anyone who uses that kind of
cordless phone anymore. It's a matter of fact, I
have not seen that type of phones in any store
for ages.

But i guess it could be that as the phone is on its way to your ear it passes your mouth?
