Reserve a hotel room in a five star hotel, call his girlfriend up and let her know that you did that, tell your husband what you did...and stay home and do your womanly chores like a good wife.

Check into a nice hotel or motel with restaurants near by. You don't have to go to Paris to be romantic.

find an off the path get a way...... a fishing lodge or such........ plan it all out..... take the candles the rose petals, the oils the other stuff..... make a list...... do not forget food..... and drink....... look on the internet for lodges and compare prices..... use your imagination........ good luck and God bless

dinner at someplace like smitties or humpties is nice, though it sounds like it wouldn't be, you can also go to bonanza or a bar and grill, theyre usually cheap and nice, then try a discount movie cinema, theyre nice too.
